Global Operations Manager

Sita Nyame joined the Global Affairs team as Global Operations Manager in May 2024. In this role, she collaborates with senior leadership on strategic projects, coordinates and manages day-to-day operational and communication activities, and continues her work on program assessments and evaluations, particularly focusing on the impacts of experiential global learning on students. Prior to this, she worked as a program assistant in the Experiential Global Learning (EGL) department.

Sita is a three-time alumna of the University of Connecticut (UConn) and is currently an Environmental Engineering PhD candidate at UConn, which she plans to complete in May 2025. Before joining Global Affairs, she was a Foreign Language Instructor at Chongqing Normal University Foreign Trade and Business College, where she taught business English and prepared students for standard English exams required for U.S. and U.K. university admission to postgraduate programs.

Sita has a strong background in data analytics, cultural anthropology, and process optimization. She credits her global perspective and desire to contribute to creating and nurturing global citizens to her experiences in Ghana, the Czech Republic, China, and Honduras.
