Multimedia Content Producer

Aniqa Islam is the Multimedia Content Producer and Social Media Specialist for the University of Connecticut’s Office of Global Affairs. Joining the team in 2021 with a robust background in strategic communication, she bridges digital media, international affairs, and cross-cultural storytelling in order to strengthen the university’s global presence and create meaningful mutual engagements across platforms.

She is a proud UConn alumna, earning a B.A. in Communication and English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. She earned a M.A. in Strategic Communication and Public Relations from Sacred Heart University. Her interests in global initiatives stem from her passion for traveling, creating bridges and fostering dialogues among international audiences.
