Marketing Administrative Intern

Hello! My name is Chloe Gordon, and I’m currently a junior at the University of Connecticut, where I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications. After graduation, I aspire to build a career in public relations or marketing. Although I currently speak only English, I’m eager to expand my language skills, especially since I’m part Korean and have a strong desire to learn the language.

I’ve had the privilege of traveling to Ireland, London, and Italy, and I’m looking forward to my upcoming trip to France and Amsterdam. I also dream of visiting countries like Korea, Spain, Scotland, and Greece!

As a Marketing Administrative Intern, I am responsible for overseeing social media accounts, scheduling posts, and coordinating the dissemination of the Office of Global Affairs updates in the news. I chose to intern in the Global Communications and Marketing department because I believe it will provide me with valuable skills that I can directly apply to my future career. I aim to develop my ability to gather and understand diverse feedback, engage and attract audiences, and communicate effectively through visual media. I specifically selected the Global Affairs Communications Department for its potential to deepen my understanding of global issues and enhance my personal growth. Working here will not only help me advance my career but also foster my own development!
