Web Development Intern

Hi, my name is Julian Hart, and I’m a junior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Machine Learning. My future career plans consist of working in a space where I can blend machine learning with web development. As a native English speaker, I currently speak only English, but I’m eager to learn another language, such as Spanish or Tagalog, so I can communicate with friends in their native tongues. While I haven’t traveled internationally yet, I hope to visit exciting places like the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and Japan in the future.

As a Web Development Intern, I refactor backend architecture, optimize APIs to enhance site performance, and improve data management practices. I chose to work in the Global Communications and Marketing department because I believe the experience I gain through this internship will be invaluable for my future career
