The Global Training and Development Institute (GTDI) is a unit that offers academic services and specialized training to international students and professionals through exchange programs across multiple disciplines. Since 1961, more than 10,000 government officials, business and non-profit leaders, and university students from 130 countries have participated in the Institute’s education and training programs. Some of the current programs offered by GTDI include the U.S. State Department Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), Study at UConn, and the Technology and Entrepreneurship summer program.
