UConn’s Participation in Israel Mission Produces Fruitful Discussions, Partnership Extension
From February 17-24, UConn Vice President for Global Affairs Daniel Weiner joined a high-level delegation including interim UConn President Radenka Maric accompanying Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont for a trade mission to Israel. While there, the group met with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, President Isaac Herzog, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, Energy Minister Karine Elharrar, and signed a memorandum of understanding with Technion - Israel Institute of Technology to reaffirm the Technion Clean Energy Project.
